So Much for Obama's "Bounce"
McCain and his people made an excellent choice in Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska if for no other reason than Obama's thunder has officially been stolen.
The "Bounce" Obama got from the DNC, which ended up being around 4% (less than stellar as the average is ~6%)?
The mantra of "Change" echoed ad nauseam for months and months?
Put the first female V.P. (which Obama had a chance at) in your "Change Pipe" and smoke it! And wave bye-bye to your "bounce".
At this point, it isn't formal yet, and I am waiting to her the radio broadcast but it is good to have some assurance that Obama will lose the Presidency in 2008.

I think you mean that Palin is the first woman to be put on the ticket at V.P., which as I would think you already know is incorrect.
So you must mean that a McCain presidency is in the bag. But then why make the statement that Obama had a chance to do it himself?
Am I reading it wrong?
I know, Ferraro was on the ticket as V.P. previously. I was mainly poking fun at Obama because he passed up the same opportunity by not choosing (or even vetting) Hillary for the Dem V.P. spot.
It is a risky notion though, considering Hillary comes with some baggage (namely Bill) and she would have tended to steal the spotlight I think.
Nothing is in the bag, but you have to admit, McCain did his campaign a HUGE favor here.
